Abstract:	בכל החברות במזרח אירופה הפוסט־סובייטית מתאפיין זיכרון השואה במעשים ובשיח המשרתים את היעד של בניין אומה. במאמר זה ייבחנו הדינמיקה של זיכרון ההולודומור ) Holodomor (, הרעב הגדול, ושל זיכרון מלחמת העולם השנייה והשואה בברית המועצות, ומאז התפרקותה — באוקראינה, מאפייניהם של זיכרונות אלו והתפקיד שהם ממלאים במשבר הפוקד את אוקראינה מאז 2013 Holocaust Remembrance in all Eastern European post-Soviet societies has arguably been characterized by remembrance, practice and discourse utilized to serve the aim of nation-building. This article examines the dynamics of Holodomor, World War II and Holocaust Remembrance in the Soviet Union and since its disintegration in Ukraine, with an additional focus on its nature and relevance in the crisis which has enveloped Ukraine since 2013.
