| Abstract: | This text is a slightly extended version of the forword to Kudzai Biri's book on single women in Zimbabwe and how they are marginalised socially and religiously. Kuegler tries to put the topic of single women into a broader framework of debate by connecting it to aspects of religious history (within the Bibel and beyond) and to recent discussion on rape culture and masculine domination. |
