Im Zentrum des Beitrages stehen die Bildungstheorien Wilhelm von Humboldts, John Deweys und Wolfgang Klafkis, die im Hinblick auf die (implizit) enthaltenen Vorstellungen von Zukunft befragt und rekonstruiert werden. Die Rekonstruktionen und deren Diskussion werden in Bezug zur aktuellen sozial-ökologischen Krise gesetzt. Mit dieser Krise ist gegenwärtig die Bedingung der Möglichkeit verloren gegangen, das Ziel der Pädagogik seit der Aufklärung, zur Schaffung und Erhaltung einer lebenswerten Welt beizutragen, erreichen zu können. Die Autor:innen kommen zu dem Schluss, dass sich eine Pädagogik und ihre Bildungstheorie, die sich dieser aktuellen Herausforderung nicht stellt, ihre Legitimität verliert.

The contribution focuses on the theories of Bildung of Wilhelm von Humboldt, John Dewey and Wolfgang Klafki, which are questioned and reconstructed with regard to the (implicitly) contained ideas of the future. The reconstructions and their discussion are placed in relation to the current socio-ecological crisis. With this crisis, the condition of being able to achieve the goal of pedagogy since the Enlightenment of contributing to the creation and preservation of a world worth living in has been lost. The authors conclude that a pedagogy and its theory of Bildung that does not face this current challenge loses its legitimacy.
