Decisions on location planning are complex strategic business decisions involving a considerable number of risks for a company´s management. To reduce the general risk of making a wrong decision literature offers a wide range of different approaches (Krebs & Reinhart, 2012). All of these methods base on one similar key fact – the decision quality increasing with the amount and detail level of the used parameters. Therefore, the conference paper addresses the finding of a general abort criterion, by finding the right decision parameters and reduce them to a reasonable number.
