Abstract:
The data provided here contains intermodal micromobility data collected as part of the project Explanym (https://www.uni-bamberg.de/explanym/), funded by BMFTR (grant id is 16KISA079K). To allow for stress analysis, some of the trips have been enriched with survey data of study participants. Details about the data set are as follows:
Duration of data collection: August 2025 until October 2025.
Datasets included in collection:
Data collected by an app developed for collecting anonymized intermodal micromobility data as part of project Explanym (https://gitlab.com/wikimove-os/explanym), developed by wikimove. Data includes e.g.: Date time, Transportation mode name, Transportation mode variant, Latitude (deg), Longitude (deg), Accuracy (m), Altitude (m), Vertical accuracy (m), Speed (m/s), Speed accuracy (m/s), Heading (deg), Accelerometer x (m/s^2), Accelerometer y (m/s^2), Accelerometer z (m/s^2), Gyroscope x (rad/s), Gyroscope y (rad/s), Gyroscope z (rad/s), Magnetometer x, Magnetometer y,Magnetometer z
Survey data to capture metadata on routes and stress levels while travelling. Data includes e.g. Weather Condition, Temperature Feeling, Light Condition, Traffic, disruption or risky moments, Delay/Wait Experience, Crowd Level, Seat Availability, Driving Behavior, Road Type, Ride Comfort, obstacles or unsafe moments, Path Type (mostly), Crowd Density, Surface Condition, Perceived Safety, malfunction or safety concern, E-Scooter Availability, Scooter Parked Properly when Found, Access Difficulty, E-Scooter Charge Level, Ride Smoothness, Finding Parking at End of Trip, Current Mood, Focus Level, Physical Comfort, Stress Level (5 being stressed)
Data Quality: Raw data, no GPS correction, no semantic checks for survey
Data format: csv
Number of records: 113 survey responses, 85 trips (sometimes two persons doing one trip both submitting surveys)
Duration of data collection: August 2025 until October 2025.
