Abstract:
The paper surveyes both general theoretical considerations and concrete implementation problems of font development in 1995 computing environments, with a special focus on Old Church Slavonic (Cyrillc and Glagolitic), i.e. at the down of but before the widespread use of Unicode. Also included are the original slides from the Bulgarian conference of the same year.
