Fewer activities outside the home often go hand in hand with social isolation. This paper presents studies on specific needs of elderly and physically handicapped persons. Here are clear demands for a change in mobility for this group of people. The use of new technologies will make it possible to make an important contribution to the needs of the mobility of groups in the near future. The topic of a new mobility concept is the combination of an autonomously moving submicro- vehicle with a marketable industrial robot, which can be individually adapted to different needs of the user.deuMobility conceptsAutomotiveelderly peopledisabled peoplesubmicro-vehicleindustrial robot330650Neue Möglichkeiten der Mobilität für ältere und behinderte Menschenconferenceobject
