Anschließend werden Risikofaktoren für Chronifizierung und Therapieresistenz und Anmerkungen zur Therapie dieser Subgruppen dargestellt. Im zweiten Teil werden drei eigene Untersuchungen referiert: In einer Umfrage auf deutschen Depressionsstationen (n= 3840) wurde von den dort tätigen Therapeuten Prävalenzraten (ein- Jahres-Prävalenz und Stichtagsprävalenz) geschätzt. Die zweite Untersuchung fand an 132 psychiatrisch vollstationär behandelten Patienten der Depressionsstation am Bezirkskrankenhaus in Bayreuth statt und vergleicht die Gruppe der chronisch und therapieresistent depressiven Patienten mit den nichtchronisch- und nichttherapieresistenten. Abschließend werden fünf Patienten der erstgenannten Gruppe in Einzelfallanalysen untersucht.In its first part the dissertation provides a literature-based survey on the definition, classification, epidemiology, and on the models of the development of chronic and therapy-resistant depression, followed by factors of chronifying, and therapy resistance, and annotations on therapy. In the second part three own studies are presented: In a poll in German specialized depression units (n= 3840) prevalence rates (a one year prevalence rate and a rate on a fixed day) were estimated by the therapists working there.
