I will first reflect the challenges of democracy learning today (part 1). In the following (part 2), the contribution of Global Learning to democracy learning is presented. I close with some reflections for the practice of Global Learning and for further research (part 3). Both Global Learning and democracy-related education strengthen the capacity for plurality and diversity, and both have in common the ability to strengthen the common public good.
