Every year, the Institute of Catholic Theology at the University of Bamberg awards a prize for an outstanding thesis (M.A. or state examination). The association "Bamberger Theologische Studien e.V." offers prize winners the opportunity to publish their theses in the new series "Bamrger Junge Theologie". The new series should therefore be regarded as a junior series to the established "Bamberger Theologische Studien" series.
